Grace Canyon Farm & Ranch is owned and operated by Kerry and Shane Maline in Custer County Nebraska.  Agriculture has been in our blood our whole lives.  We grew up working with our family tilling the soil and taking care of cattle.  Our family has always taken pride in caring for livestock and the land.  These values are common in our area.

The cows we raise are a little different than the common cow raised in Nebraska.  Most rancher's are raising Angus, Gelbvieh, Limousine, and Charolais breeds of cattle.  The cows we raise for our beef are Scottish Highland or Scottish Highland crossed with another breed.  We have found that Scottish Highland cattle produce an amazing tasting beef.  It is naturally lean, yet tender and full of flavor.

Our cows are raised on grass when available, which is about 5 to 6 months in the Summer and Fall.  The rest of the year they graze corn stalks or are fed hay and corn.  Our steers are grain fed.  We do not give any hormones to our cattle, but on a rare occasion we do use antibiotics.

Our beef is hung and dry aged at the locker a minimum of 14 days before being packaged.  This process causes the beef to have enhanced flavor as well as tenderness.  You are also paying for less water since it is dry aged.

We take pride in our beef and believe we are providing a product you will enjoy!
